Since joining Lend Lease in 1994, Malcolm has been involved in all areas of the company including development, construction, transaction structuring, finance, operations, marketing and leasing and asset and property management. He has structured and negotiated more than 90 transactions representing more than $1.5 billion.

Prior to joining Lend Lease, Malcolm was with Aetna Life Insurance Company where he was Managing Director of Real Estate Investments and directly accountable for a $5 billion loan portfolio and a network of 18 correspondent offices. Malcolm also served as Executive Vice President and Partner with Fifield Companies, Ltd., a full-service real estate development company in Chicago, where he solicited, negotiated and closed over $1.2 billion of transactions. As partner-in-charge, he was accountable for all aspects of developments/acquisitions including initial feasibility, design, construction, leasing and management of 4.5 million square feet of office, retail, residential and hotel projects.

Malcolm graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in finance and real estate. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), as well as the ACHE CEO Circle, and sits on the editorial advisory board of Healthcare Real Estate Insights™.
