Mark joined Lend Lease in 1994 and is based in our Chicago office. With over 20 years of experience in medical real estate, he has developed over 37 medical facilities in every regional market in the United States. His responsibilities encompass the full scope of project development from structuring and feasibility, development and leasing, construction oversight and ongoing property management implementation.

Prior to joining Lend Lease, he spent five years with two nationally recognized medical building developers based in Chicago, Dallas, and San Diego. Mark has structured and implemented facility acquisitions ranging from single project to multi-facility portfolios. His expertise in both transaction modeling and client and tenant relations has assisted Lend Lease in earning a reputation for successful ownership transitions and long-term transaction satisfaction for our hospital clients.

A member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Mr. Furlan is a 1986 graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
