DASCO to Build MOB in Idaho
Palm Beach Gardens, FL — January 2006 - DASCO Companies announces the development of a new medical office
building on the campus of Portneuf Medical Center (PMC) in Pocatello, Idaho. Currently, PMC has acute care services
at two hospital locations. The 80,000 SF MOB will be located on the east campus and designated a Heart and Vascular
Center of Excellence. DASCO’s development plan for the four-story MOB incorporates a covered patient drop-off with
a direct connection to the hospital.
DASCO was selected to lead PMC in its initial project which is part of a larger expansion plan that will result in a
new hospital located on the east campus. By 2012, Portneuf Medical Center will be a single campus with well-defined
centers of excellence. Construction on the expansion will be built in phases over the next eight to 10 years. PMC is
a 231-bed acute care facility with a separate 92-bed long term care facility.
PMC is a not-for-profit facility owned by the citizens of Bannock County. It is locally organized and operated and has
been serving the health care needs of Southeast Idahoans since 1907.
DASCO will be responsible for all phases of the project including design and construction oversight, financing, leasing
