Health Management Associates needed a partner to help them satisfy the desire
of physicians who no longer wanted to be in the real estate business, so they
turned to DASCO. We purchased the 60,600 square foot medical office building,
which had originally been developed by the doctors on staff of the medical
center. The hospital was able to maintain the necessary controls over the
building through the structure of the ground lease. Today, as owner and
manager, DASCO works closely with the hospital in the marketing and leasing of
the building. |
