Located in Florida�s panhandle, the Bay Medical Center (BMC) portfolio consists of
two properties: the six-story, 66,000 square foot BMC Medical Office Building (MOB)
and the 80,000 square foot HealthPlex facility.
The on-campus, six-story MOB is directly connected to the hospital. It houses physician
offices, an outpatient pharmacy and other hospital ancillary services.
HealthPlex is an off-campus building with physician offices and the area�s largest
comprehensive health, fitness and rehabilitation facility. Less than three miles from
the main campus, HealthPlex provides fully integrated health care services from rehabilitation
to wellness, featuring licensed therapists, degreed exercise staff, and technically advanced
equipment.
The HealthPlex building had significant structural issues as a result of bad soil. DASCO won
the proposal by creatively designing the deal to include the acquisitions of both properties and
the structural remediation of HealthPlex.
DASCO�s ability to efficiently implement the remediation plan, combined with full-service capabilities
to handle any future development or expansion projects, provided BMC with a medical real estate partner
they could trust. |
