The first MOB on this campus was designed in 2002 to allow for future expansion to accommodate anticipated demand. Working together with the hospital and architect, a plan was created that called for a lobby to serve the original building and is now shared by both buildings.

Construction on Central Mississippi Medical Center MOB II began in fall of 2004; the 44,300 square foot building was completed in June 2005.

Some of the physician practices within the building include neurology, gastroenterology, internal medicine and diagnostics.

Lend Lease was responsible for all phases of the project - design and construction oversight, financing and leasing.
