After an extensive national search for a medical real estate firm, HMA chose Lend Lease to develop the 46,600 square foot facility located on the campus of Central Mississippi Medical Center (CMMC). Since acquiring the hospital, HMA had successfully recruited much needed physicians to the area and the development of the medical office building was a key component of their recruiting efforts. In fact, this MOB was specifically designed to allow for future on-campus expansion. Working together with the hospital and architect, a plan was created that called for a lobby to serve this original building which would ultimately become a shared lobby for a future building. (Lend Lease has subsequently developed a second 44,300 square foot building which is linked to the first MOB by the lobby.)

Some of the physician practices within the building include neurosurgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, endocrinology and vascular surgery. Lend Lease was responsible for all aspects of the project including: financing, development, construction management and leasing.
